Jwalant Desai, B.E., MBA, is a startup advisor and innovation specialist with a global career spanning India, Singapore, Cambodia, and Canada.

He has guided entrepreneurs through every stage of the startup journey — from ideation and validation to fundraising and scaling — working with founders across industries to turn bold ideas into real-world ventures.
As a mentor with Edmonton Unlimited and Lab2Market, Jwalant has helped Canadian startups sharpen their business models, connect with investors, and break into new markets. Previously, as Director of the AUPP Tech Center in Cambodia, he launched and scaled an innovation hub that incubated 20 startups and secured a dozen organizational partnerships.

His corporate background includes senior roles with TELUS, Overlay Technologies, and Vertexplus, where he drove AI-driven digital transformation, enterprise sales, and strategic growth initiatives.

Jwalant also brings more than a decade of experience in telecom and technology across Vodafone, Airtel, Reliance, and Fibcom in India, where he led enterprise accounts, scaled new technologies, and managed large network deployments.

He holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and has completed executive programs at Berkeley Haas and Wharton. With certifications in blockchain, project finance, and advanced leadership, he bridges technical insight with business acumen to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs.
