Jeff Uhlich, B.A., MSc HRM, is a veteran HR executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience
across North America and the Middle East. He has led transformative HR initiatives in higher education,
government, and corporate environments, guiding large-scale organizational change, talent strategies,
and labor relations at institutions such as Abu Dhabi University, NorQuest College, and Alberta Pensions
Services Corporation.
As founder and CEO of augmentus inc., Jeff is now applying his expertise to the frontier of artificial
intelligence, helping small and medium-sized businesses adopt practical, affordable AI solutions. Through
collaborations with networks such as KEI, he is advancing the conversation on AI adoption in Alberta while continuing to draw on his deep background in human capital leadership.
Jeff’s career reflects a commitment to ethical, people-centered leadership and a readiness to embrace
innovation. A lifelong runner who has completed over 15 marathons and six ultra-marathons, he brings the
same endurance and strategic focus to his professional pursuits. He is also an active investor and advisor,
engaged in shaping the intersection of people, technology, and organizational growth.
Currently based in Edmonton, Jeff balances his entrepreneurial and advisory work with family life,
community involvement, and a growing role as a grandparent.
